Under the direction of the Senior Director of Accelerated Credit, the CTE/PACTEC Program Manager provides leadership for Perkins funded programs at the secondary level in the greater Portland area (Region 2A by Oregon Department of Education definition). The position manages the Perkins Basic (for eight districts in a consortium) Reserve (the entire 2A region), and Partnership grants with the goal of increasing CTE awareness, access, and opportunity through support of school districts, high school CTE teachers, and other key partners. The position works with PCC Faculty, staff, representatives of the community, external agencies and directly with school districts receiving Perkins funding for CTE programs. This position serves as a primary liaison between high school CTE programs and PCC and is a critical role in management and support as the Regional CTE Coordinator and is responsible for Perkins grant outcomes. The incumbent provides leadership in guiding and assisting college and high school faculty in meeting Perkins grant initiatives established by the consortium members and the Regional Coordinator in compliance with the Oregon Department of Education and Federal Perkins law. This position supervises professional and administrative services staff.
