The Division of Enrollment Services / Answer Center is seeking an Associate Director of Enrollment Services to provide leadership and oversight for district-wide enrollment services operations, ensuring exceptional student service, efficient workflows, and a seamless registration and enrollment experience. Under the direction of management, oversees daily operations, manages resources, and optimizes service delivery to enhance student access and success. Leads the planning, development, and implementation of operational strategies, policies, and procedures that support enrollment and retention goals. Supervises and develops a high-performing team by providing training, coaching, and skill-building opportunities to ensure staff mastery of processes, technologies, and customer service best practices. Manages staffing, scheduling, and workflow to maintain consistent service across campuses, ensuring students receive timely and effective support. Serves as a key liaison and subject matter expert on registration, admissions, student records, and compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with faculty, staff, and external partners to improve service coordination and operational efficiency. Monitors performance metrics, analyzes data, and implements enhancements to streamline operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and student-centered service. Operates with a high degree of autonomy and decision-making authority, contributing to the overall success of enrollment services across the college.

These qualifications, skills and abilities are critical for success in this position. Throughout the screening process, you will be evaluated based on the demonstration of these qualifications. Success Criteria: Experience providing both direct service and operational leadership of a complex, public-serving office in a multi-site environment, preferably within Enrollment Services or an enrollment-related office such as Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, New Student Orientation, or Advising. Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing data-informed improvements to enhance stakeholder/customer experience, efficiencies, and overall service delivery. Professional staff supervision experience, including coaching, and providing performance feedback to staff. Directly leading or contributing in a significant capacity to the successful implementation of new technologies. Experience with building and maintaining strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and improve access to services Ability to learn and perform front-line functions while embracing a team mindset, balancing the interrelated demands of various departmental roles to provide direct support and ensure continuity of service. Knowledge of change management principles, best practices and applied use of those in large-scale change initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications: To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked). Positions in this classification typically require a blend of administrative and supervisory experience, including expertise with office operations, updating and maintaining accurate database records, using technological resources, and experience or training related to the program or service to which assigned.
A typical way to meet these requirements would be: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Communication, or related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for year basis. Three years of progressively responsible, professional level experience in higher education student services, including two years of supervisory experience.
