The Business Administration (BA) Program at Portland Community College (PCC) is seeking a full-time instructor for Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting. The BA program is a part of the Business & Entrepreneurship (B&E) Academic pathway. The program serves over 5,000 students annually and offers courses through flexible delivery modalities: fully online (asynchronous), online (synchronous/remote - live instruction via zoom), on-site/hybrid, and fully on-site at multiple PCC locations. We strive to provide high quality culturally competent instruction and services with commitment to student success. You will be joining a team of 14 full-time and over 60 part-time BA faculty members. As a BA Accounting faculty, you will teach courses in the Accounting sequence such as BA 111 Introduction to Accounting, BA 211 Principles of Accounting, BA 213 Managerial Accounting, BA 218 Personal Finance, BA 228 Computer Accounting Applications, BA 256 Income Tax, BA 222 Financial Management, and other related courses. Beyond the instructional load, faculty in this position will work with the BA Accounting faculty team to ensure the quality of the academic curriculum using culturally responsive teaching methodologies, provide mentorship to other faculty, and work with colleagues to advance the Business program and the college community.
