Position incumbents provide input to management regarding the work, including participating in planning maintenance work, participating in project management tasks, and investigating and resolving unusual situations. Positions at this level provide guidance and coordination to others and train less-skilled staff on elements of the facilities maintenance trades. Within the job family there may be some overlap between the levels of work, and an incumbent at this level may be called upon to perform tasks associated with a lower level in the family.

Experience working in a team environment, and providing customer serviceExperience scoping small projects.Experience painting, sheet rock repair.Experience with plan reading.Experience with commercial doors and hardware, door closers.Experience with Commercial building structures and Office building environments.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).
High school diploma or equivalent. Five years of facilities maintenance, construction, or repair experience in a commercial or industrial setting (two years of education or training, or an Associate’s Degree, in the facilities maintenance trades may substitute for two years of work experience). Must have a valid driver’s license for operation of a motor vehicle in Oregon and possess an acceptable driving record. Forklift driver certification required within six months of employment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years of facilities maintenance, construction, or repair experience in a commercial or industrial setting (two years of education or training, or an Associate’s Degree, in the facilities maintenance trades may substitute for two years of work experience).
Must have a valid driver’s license for operation of a motor vehicle in Oregon and possess an acceptable driving record.
Forklift driver certification required within six months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Other facilities maintenance certifications such as, BOMI or IFMA.

Work Environment and Physical RequirementsWork is performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions. May be exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, noise and temperature extremes. Position involves frequent bending, standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, reaching below and above shoulders, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. while performing job duties. Wrist, hand and finger dexterity is required to operate various equipment and materials
