The Online Learning Training & Development Team is seeking a Digital Learning Facilitator to help support academic programs across the college.
The Training and Development Team is responsible for supporting and promoting instructional best practices. It develops and facilitates the initial Online Instructor Training (BEARS), Multimodality Training, Teaching Pairs, and curates Online Learning Consortium (OLC) and Quality Matters (QM) Workshops, among others. The team also facilitates the online faculty mentor program, supports faculty-led remote and hybrid workgroups, coordinates with the Instructional Design team and Instructional Technology Support, and collaborates with faculty to create and update resources such as What Works Well in Online Teaching. It has been recently tasked with organizing, developing, and facilitating continuous professional development through the required online refresher and remote faculty training. This position will include developing and facilitating online and multimodality instructional training, presentations, and workshops for faculty, as well as building and updating instructional resources in collaboration with the existing team and with feedback from academic programs.
