Business Process Systems Trainer (Temporary)

Position Summary This is a temporary position currently funded through September 20, 2022.
 

Finance is seeking a 6 month temporary Business Process Systems Trainer.  This position will create specific training curriculum in the MyCareer@PCC and develop technical documentation for business-critical applications (such as Banner, ChromeRiver, AODocs and Agiloft) in coordination with the Finance Systems Development Manager. This work will support finance staff, managers and admins to make the best use of existing and emerging finance tools. 


Building upon existing materials, you will be examining processes and creating training materials including process guides and videos that ensure staff understand their role and the tasks they need to complete.


This 6 month temporary position will begin as soon as possible. The workdays will generally be M-F and will be remote. Our department currently works remotely in accordance with PCC’s remote work policy and campus access procedures until normal business operations are resumed.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).

Associate’s degree in a computer-related discipline, education, or related field is required (relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis).

Two years of experience documenting, training, and supporting end users on systems software or business processes.

Position Grade 22
Starting Salary Expectations The first two steps of the range are: $53,598 to $55,208 per year. Higher salary placement may be available based on qualifications, experience and internal equity.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Work environment is in an office and includes typical computer-related noise levels and paper or equipment generated dust. Frequent travel between campuses and off-site locations. Must constantly keep up with software and system upgrades in order to support end-users. Learned physical skill is required to perform keyboarding and use peripheral equipment. Occasional lifting of equipment or materials. Extended periods of sitting or standing to perform computer applications or conduct training.
