Compensation category: Service Assistant/Maintenance - Casual Employment. Hourly Food Service Associates typically rotate among the following job tasks and work stations on a daily /weekly basis: Barista station Cashier station Pizza station Grill/Fry station Sandwich and Salads General Kitchen help The following work shifts and locations are currently available: Rock Creek campus: 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Sylvania campus: 6:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. M-TH 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m
- Must have ability to obtain a food handler's card.
- Minimum six months of food service and cashiering experience required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in oral and written form. Food Service work situations are routine and regularly recurring, requiring an ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and understand commonly used procedures and work methods. Communication skills are employed to interact with supervisor, co-workers, student trainees and public.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of County/State/Federal health and safety codes pertaining to commercial food service operations

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), you may view Portland Community College’s (PCC) most recent Annual Security Report (ASR) on the Department of Public Safety website. The ASR contains current security and safety-related policy disclosure statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information and resources, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains crime statistics for Clery Act crimes which occurred on PCC properties for the last three calendar years. Paper copies of the ASR are available upon request at all Department of Public Safety offices.
